Ma Dongyao, Professor in Tang and Song literature, received her doctoral degree from the Department of Chinese Literature and held a post-doctoral position in Department of Chinese History at Peking University. She has served as the Deputy Dean of the School and the Head of Department of International Chinese Education. She has served as the Counselor of the Committee of Song Dynasty Literature, and Associate Editor of Liyun xuekan.
