Yan Zinan, Associate Professor, received his BEng (Westminster University) in Software Engineering, MA (SOAS, University of London) in Sinology and PhD (SOAS, University of London) in Sinology. He served as a Teaching Fellow at SOAS, University of London from 2011 to 2013. He has joined the School of Chinese Languages and Literature, Beijing Normal University since 2014. His research interest is Ming and Qing poetry and poetics, with focuses on structuralism studies as well as Qing court culture.
